Created using the lost wax process, the piece is first sculpted from clay, and a wax mold is created. At the bronze foundry, the piece is repeatedly dipped in ceramic to form a heat resistant shell into which the liquid bronze is poured. After being removed from the mold, the bronze is smoothed, sandblasted,
