Red flowers that hang below the foliage

Sanguinaria canadensis 'Snow Cone' (Bloodroot) Rare Collector Plants Notes: SynZone: 3 9 Natural Range: Eastern North America Soil: Moist, humus rich, well drained Light: Part shade Height: 6" 8" Attributes: Deciduous, summer dormant. White flowers to over 3" across with two layers of extra petals in spring. Blue green kidney shaped lobed foliage. Notes: This selection was introduced by Jan Sacks and Mary Schafer of Joe Pye Weed's Garden. When planted in full sun and allowed to go dryer the foliage will go dormant in the summer.
